Tracy is married with two grown up children and has had a colourful career to date, spending 20 years as an entertainer on the north east club circuit and the last 10 years also teaching fitness classes, but writing has never been far away.
Tracy has won several competitions over the years for her poetry and has read at several events in the north east of England.
The Weakest Link was first written over 15 years ago, and after being unsuccessfully submitted to several large publishing houses, was placed on the ‘back burner’ while she pursued a singing career and the raising of her two children.
After discovering that a childhood road accident had made the need for a hip replacement imminent and unavoidable, she re-proofed and updated the novel with a view to finally appeasing her small fan base with a sequel.
“The time I may have to spend in recovery will give me the perfect opportunity to actually sit and write again,” she said, “you normally can’t keep me in one place or still for long enough to write these days, but I have to say I have missed it. Plus, of course, it would be pointless starting the sequel unless I had made a start getting part one into the public forum. I just hope plenty of people enjoy the book and take the time to leave a favourable review on Amazon which will help with sales :) ”
